Job Summary: The Forensic Coordinator is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) who provides services as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to coordinate care for Justice Involved individuals presenting with a mental health diagnosis and/or co-occurring substance use and/or Intellectual and Development Disability. Service delivery location is dependent on specific program or grant assignment.
The Forensic Coordinator participates in screening, completes assessment, and collaborates with diverse individuals to define and facilitate desired life outcomes utilizing a recovery based and trauma-informed perspective. The Forensic Coordinator delivers therapeutic interventions to help individuals develop skills to manage symptoms as well as connect with services to include medication management, housing, medical care, nutritional assistance, financial assistance, transportation, legal assistance, and other resources to fulfill needs.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education
Required:
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Required:
- Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness is preferred.
