About the Role
Clinical Psychologist to join our fast-paced Behavioral Health team. This is a long-term independent contractor position serving diverse populations across multiple Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in San Diego County. This hybrid role offers flexibility and meaningful work impacting underserved communities.

Title: Licensed Clinical Psychologist- Outpatient Clinic | Hybrid
Location: Multiple Locations – San Diego, CA
Shift: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm - Hybrid role (3 days a week in office, possibly only 2 days in future)
Salary Range: $111,000 - $147,000 (Hourly Rate Negotiable) + Benefits
Duration: Long-term/ Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy services to adolescents and adults with mild to moderate mental health concerns (FQHC) and moderate to severe (CCBHC).
  • Conduct intake evaluations (1 hour) and follow-up therapy sessions (30-45 minutes).
  • Maintain a caseload averaging 11–12 patients per day (mix of in-person and telehealth).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care.
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care with a trauma-informed approach.

  • San Ysidro Health Center – 4004 Beyer Blvd, San Ysidro, CA 92173

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid work model (minimum 2–3 days onsite)

Requirements

Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California (PhD or PsyD)
Spanish-speaking (Required)
Experience working with low-income, geriatric, or adolescent populations
Willingness to provide therapy in both in-person and telehealth formats
BLS Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $111,000.00 - $147,000.00 per year
