Overview

• Job Type: In-person
• Location: Rocklin Unified School District (Sacramento County, CA)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, ~8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Compensation: 55-65 an hour
• Start Date: August 2025

Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify learning and behavioral needs Including:

• Participate in IEP & 504 plan meetings
• Participate in FBA & BIP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop intervention strategies
• Monitor and report student progress toward goals
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
• Respond to crises and help manage student safety or mental health concerns
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to meet students’ unique learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, accommodations, and behaviors
• Utilize assistive technology and educational tools as appropriate
• Participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s degree/PhD in Psychology, Educational Psychology, or School Psychology OR in a related field (California Commission approved program) with a specialization in school psychology.
• Experience with IEP development and differentiated instruction (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion, patience, and a passion for working with students who have special needs
