Crossroads Counseling Services provides services to people in Lincoln County, OR. We provide Non-Violence Education, Anger Management and Parenting Classes that fulfill the requirements for Lincoln County Court. We care about this community and we truly want to see people heal and make better choices. We have a diverse range of clients and we strive to support and foster growth with every person. In providing these services, we hope to make a positive impact in Lincoln County and offer support to people who otherwise may not receive it.
We are looking for qualified therapists, social workers or mental health professionals interested in facilitating groups. These are court mandated groups in which we provide all the curriculum. The job would require facilitating groups, keeping documentation, and monthly case management.
This is a contract position, employees are paid per class and can choose how many classes they take on when hired. These classes are often held in the evenings for 90 minutes. All classes are provided online therefore allowing this position to be fully remote. However, facilitators must reside in the state of Oregon.
Experience:
- QMHP Certification (Masters completed in Counseling or Social Work)
- Previous experience working in community mental health, and with mandated clients preferred
- Willingness to learn and implement Nonviolent Education Class curriculum
- Familiarity with proper documentation techniques for therapeutic interventions
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to providing care for clients
