A full-time School Psychologist position is available in a K-12 school setting in Grand Island, NE. This contract role spans the current school year, offering an opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services within a supportive educational environment.
Qualified candidates must hold valid Nebraska Psychologist credentials and have experience working in K-12 schools. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families, developing intervention plans, and supporting student mental health and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions
- Provide counseling and support to students to promote emotional and behavioral well-being
- Assist in crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
