Education: Master’s Degree in a behavioral sciences field.
Experience and Training: Minimum of three years’ experience in behavioral healthcare services for children and adolescents. A minimum of two years’ experience working directly with abuse or trauma victims. Must have or be in training to receive certification in the treatment of sexually aggressive youth in at least a 60-credit hour academic and practicum program with competency evaluation and testing. Certification is a requirement within one year of the date of hire.
This position will be responsible for:
- The facilitation of therapy in a variety of specific, identified needs, including the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan, documentation of therapeutic experience via report writing, communication with referral sources and treatment team members, and providing an atmosphere conducive to wellness.
- Develop and update client treatment plan that addresses the needs of the client with input from the client, family, referring agency, treatment team members, Site Supervisor, Director of Clinical Quality, and A.R.R.T.S. Program Coordinator.
- Oversee all components of therapy and implement change when necessary to ensure quality, therapeutic services are provided. Implement a treatment schedule to include: all group therapies, individual counseling, therapeutic tasks, and family therapy.
- Responsible for communication to the A.R.R.T.S. Program Coordinator, Director of Clinical Quality, and Mental Health Counselors regarding all situations affecting the well-being of the program and/or facility.
- Maintain a standard of care that adheres to OCYF regulations.
- Attend and present treatment progress reviews in weekly clinical staff meetings.
- Provide and facilitate weekly individual counseling/psychotherapy group sessions to A.R.R.T.S. clients and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Provide weekly clinical supervision/consultation to assigned Mental Health Counselors.
- Provide Strategic Family Therapy to clients and families, and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Participate in the development of all therapeutic group curriculums.
- Facilitate initial, reauthorization and discharge assessments, treatment progress review meetings, discharge planning meetings, provider collaboration meetings, and/or other assigned duties delegated by the management team.
- Communicate with all treatment team members regarding treatment goals, direction, and progress.
- Complete referrals to appropriate aftercare service providers.
- Provide individualized diagnostic impressions to clinical team members.

You must be at least 21 years old. Ability to obtain Act 33 clearances, Criminal History and FBI Act 73 clearances. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management is also required.
