Grand Summit Recovery is launching a dynamic Workforce Solutions Program and is seeking a motivated Instructor or Career Counselor to help clients in recovery prepare for long-term employment success. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education, workforce readiness, and supporting individuals on their journey to stability and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging classes and workshops on topics such as job readiness, resume writing, interviewing skills, and workplace etiquette
- Provide one-on-one career counseling and goal-setting sessions
- Assist clients in identifying strengths, building confidence, and preparing for sustainable careers
- Collaborate with peer support workers, and program staff to ensure comprehensive client support
- Maintain accurate documentation and track client progress toward employment goals
Qualifications:
- Experience as a career counselor, workforce development specialist, or instructor
- Strong understanding of job readiness and vocational training strategies
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of individuals in recovery
- Familiarity with addiction recovery programs is a plus

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
