About Job

Job Overview:
The Lead QMHP will oversee and mentor other QMHPs while managing a client caseload. This leadership role offers growth opportunities within the organization, requiring strong clinical skills, leadership, and a deep understanding of mental health treatment.


Scope of Work:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of QPPMH’s, providing ongoing support, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage a caseload of minimum 2 clients, providing mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Conduct weekly supervision and team meetings to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and organizational policies.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate documentation for all clients, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, etc.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans for complex cases.
  • Assist with training new QPPMH’s and ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to succeed in their roles.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, addressing client needs in high-stress situations.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Certification: QMHP- A certification required
  • Experience: Years of experience in mental health care
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
    • Experience with mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
    • Knowledge of mental health regulations and best practices.
    • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation tools.
