About Job

Are you a certified RBT who’s not only exceptional on the clinical floor but thrives in a leadership-support hybrid role? Advanced Behavioral Therapy (ABT) is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Center Assistant to play a dual-function role: ensuring consistent, high-quality client care while supporting the clinic's daily operations at our NEW ABA center.

In this dual-function role, you’ll be the go-to team member who keeps the clinic moving—covering therapy sessions, coaching new hires, resetting supplies, managing short-burst admin tasks, and helping the team avoid last-minute scrambles. If you’re energized by multitasking, proactive problem-solving, and improving systems on the fly, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

Clinical

  • Deliver direct 1:1 or group therapy sessions across a wide range of client cases.

  • Provide coverage during staff absences and lunch breaks.

  • Serve as a new-hire coach, helping new RBTs reach full independence within 10 business days.

  • Maintain billable utilization 95%, ensuring all direct care and coaching minutes are coded accurately.

  • Support group therapy sessions when assigned (3–4 clients per group).

Operational & Administrative

  • Answer incoming calls promptly; log inquiries and escalate as needed.

  • Manage front-desk reception duties, including client sign-in and family greetings.

  • Restock supplies, maintain clinic cleanliness, and execute 3 daily walkthroughs to ensure readiness.

  • Support inventory, craft room cleanup, toy bin organization, and fridge maintenance.

  • Collaborate on real-time schedule edits, notifying affected staff within 10 minutes.

  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and end-of-day clinic closing procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing (active credential).

  • 2+ years hands-on ABA or pediatric clinical floor experience.

  • Demonstrated lead-peer capability—able to coach RBTs and redirect staff calmly but firmly.

  • Proven “fix-it-before-asked” mindset; be ready to share at least two examples in the interview.

  • Able to lift/carry up to 50lbs and stand 75% of shift.

  • Realtime data entry in Ensora or equivalent on a mobile device.

  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Ensora (or equivalent EHR) for real-time data entry and scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, or related field.

  • Prior experience onboarding / training new RBTs or BTs.

  • History of schedule/clinic ops management in a setting serving 30+ clients.

  • Current Crisis-Prevention certification (e.g., CPI, Safety-Care).

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (or another language common to your client base).
