EMPOWER U’S MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN/THERAPIST HOURLY RATES RANGE FROM $65-$100 (LMFT, LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, Psy.D)

We also offer free supervision towards your Psy.D, LPC or LCSW

About Us:

Empower U is a trusted and well-established provider of childrens’, individual, and family therapy, ABA and Respite respite care services, committed to promoting mental and emotional well-being. Our team of experienced providers are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for youth and families to heal and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals and families.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Consistent communication with referral partners
  • Have a theoretical orientation in which you approach your clinical work
  • Participate in monthly supervision (unless clinician possesses a license to practice independently in New Jersey)

Qualifications:

  • A New Jersey State license to practice as a Psychologist (Psy.D/Ph.D), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A flexible schedule that allows you to work evenings and/or weekends
  • A minimum of one-year experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Children's System of Care (CSOC) services including Care Management Organizations (CMO) and Mobile Response and Stabilization (MRSS) units a plus.
  • Bilingual - Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Creole, Korean, other (please specify when you apply)
