Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering both individual and group counseling to clients facing various challenges. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on various topics related to mental health and wellness.
  • Utilize crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress.
  • Engage in child and family counseling, addressing the unique dynamics within family systems.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about the latest developments in behavioral health and clinical practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients towards positive change.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as LCSW or LCPC certifications required.
  • Experience in individual group counseling and clinical counseling preferred.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for mental health diagnoses.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention methods and child family counseling practices.
  • Strong background in mental health counseling and behavioral health services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
