POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a BCBA to join our team and work with our clients to help them identify and provide clinical oversight of behavioral services for individuals with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Clients will vary in age from young children to adolescents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observing patients and assessing their behavior
- Meeting with families to discuss the client’s treatment and progress and recommend ways to address behavioral issues
- Developing individual plans to correct, maintain, or improve certain behaviors
- Create simulated conditions where you will observe the behavior of each client
- Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
- Administer treatment and tailor interventions as needed
- Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required
- Supervise Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians on caseload
- Conduct VB-MAPP and other assessments to develop comprehensive treatment programs
- Write evaluation and progress reports
- Maintain authorizations/ relationships with case managers/service coordinators at various funding sources
- Remain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Current BCBA Certification
- Licensed to practice by state(s) in which services are being provided
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $80.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lanham, MD 20706
