Position Summary:
Brighter,Stronger Foundation is looking for mental health therapists to provide quality, individualized treatment to our growing clientele .
What you'll do:
- Provide quality clinical assessment and treatment, interventions and care based on established best practices and medical necessity guidelines
- Complete diagnostic assessments and develop measurable treatment plans to meet needs and goals of clients
- Complete diagnostic assessment tools that support and correspond with client’s clinical presentation
- Complete client notes capturing each client session
- Complete clinical documentation in compliance with payor standards
- Maintain clear, up-to-date client records and communications in HIPAA compliant EHR
- Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered care
- Work collaboratively with members of BSF’s team
- Provide community referral sources as required throughout care and at discharge
- When relevant, coordinate care with prescriber, PCP, or other collaterals
- Maintain a confidential and professional looking virtual office space
- Remain in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain good standing with all licensing boards
- Complete all required continuing education requirements for licensure and specializations
What You Need to Be Successful:
Education & Experience:
- LGPC/LCPC, LGFT/LCMFT, LMSW/LCSW-C/LCSW
- Active Maryland license
- Energetic and ambitious attitude
- Access to high-speed internet
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Spanish speaking required
Requirements:
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication skills with prescribing partners, clients, and others
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly to maintain confidentiality
- Effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate with diplomacy, respect, and professionalism
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Confidentiality and Privacy Policies
- Competent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively with both senior clinical and non-clinical staff
- Demonstrated skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
- Working knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health
- Ability to provide necessary self-care and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries and behavior
- Awareness of personal strengths and limitations

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Clean driving record with no more than 2 points. Must have a satisfactory CJIS report.

Pay: $34.00 - $75.00 per hour
