Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities. You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for those you serve.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on current research and advancements in the field of behavioral health.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and experience with medical documentation is essential.
- Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and analysis are required.
- Prior experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and interventions is a plus.
