School Psychologist - Lynn, MA (New Grad accepted)

Job Type: Full-time

Shifts: School hours, 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM

Sign on: Bonuses ($1,000 signing + $2,000 annual retention)

Job Summary:

The School Psychologist works collaboratively with educators, parents, and administrators to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students. They conduct psychological assessments, provide counselling, and develop intervention strategies to promote student success and well-being.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations (max 10/month)

  • Write evaluation reports and contribute to IEP development

  • Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing support services

  • Collaborate with families, staff, and external partners (e.g., DCF, DMH)

  • Provide consultation to teachers on behavior and intervention strategies

  • Attend IEP and special education meetings; complete Medicaid documentation

Qualifications:

  • MA DESE School Psychologist License

  • Master's degree in School Psychology (NASP-approved program)

  • Experience with special education processes

  • Strong interpersonal, data analysis, and communication skills

  • Spanish or Haitian Creole fluency a plus (preferred)

  • New grads welcome with proper licensure
