Job Title: Social Worker
Location: Camden, ME
Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $50.00/hr

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized service plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and management to clients facing immediate challenges.
• Facilitate access to behavioral health services, workforce development programs, and other community resources.
• Assist clients with navigating Medicare and Section 8 housing applications.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in achieving their goals.
• Supervise support staff or interns as needed, ensuring quality service delivery.
• Engage in childcare and child welfare initiatives, advocating for the best interests of children and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies.

Requirements

• A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, and workforce development is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Medicare processes and Section 8 housing regulations is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
