Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping individuals and families navigate through challenges and improve their overall well-being. This role involves providing support, counseling, and resources to clients in various settings, including hospitals and community organizations. The Social Worker will utilize various therapeutic techniques to address mental health issues, emotional distress, and social barriers.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Christian Counseling.
• Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute emotional distress or trauma.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including coordination with medical professionals for PTSD care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources, support groups, and educational opportunities.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in social work and therapy.

Requirements

• A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure preferred.
• Experience in special education or working with diverse populations is a plus.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and therapeutic techniques.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with medical documentation processes within hospital settings is advantageous.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
