What You’ll Do as a BCBA at UCP of Western Massachusetts:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to each child's needs
Supervise, support, and mentor behavior technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery
Deliver parent training and coaching, both in-person and via telehealth, empowering caregivers with effective tools and strategies
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote consistency, communication, and meaningful outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical, ethical, and professional standards in every aspect of care
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related human services field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (minimum of 2 years preferred)
- Massachusetts Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA)
- Two years experience in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders
- Valid driver’s license, availability of private insured vehicle.
- Adult and pediatric CPR/First Aid certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with electronic documentation or willingness to learn
- Ability to use telehealth when appropriate to provide flexible, accessible parent training, supervision and support
- Ability to work in person flexible hours. Morning, afternoon & evening schedules available.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and engage in floor-based activities
- Evidence of immunity for measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)
- Must pass CORI, SORI, DPPC, and fingerprint background checks
