We're currently seeking a dedicated Licensed School Social Worker ($50-56/hour) to support High School students in the Sycamore,IL area for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • PEL or Type 73 with the school social work endorsement,  

Role Overview:
As a School Social Worker, you'll provide critical support to students. You'll collaborate with another social worker to address students' social-emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

  • You will begin with Orientation on August 4th, then you will begin the regular school year on August 12th and end on May 29, 2026 
  • This is an in-person position 
  • Daily hours are 7:45-3:30 Monday-Friday 
  • You need to have some school experience and your PEL 
  • Caseload is approximately 40 students, all high school ages 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group social work services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
  • Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
