Position Summary

Radiant Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of our enterprise IT infrastructure. This role oversees a wide range of infrastructure components including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), network architecture, cybersecurity measures, and DevOps practices. The Infrastructure Manager will guide a team of engineers while aligning infrastructure capabilities with business goals, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Radiant Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of our enterprise IT infrastructure. This role oversees a wide range of infrastructure components including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), network architecture, cybersecurity measures, and DevOps practices. The Infrastructure Manager will guide a team of engineers while aligning infrastructure capabilities with business goals, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.




Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals, industry best practices, and security frameworks.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of server hardware and operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox), and extensive cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless solutions, and software-defined networking (SDN) concepts, ensuring robust connectivity, segmentation, and security.
  • Administer and maintain storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object storage) and data backup/recovery systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices across all infrastructure components, collaborating closely with cybersecurity teams to protect company assets, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents.
  • Drive DevOps initiatives by promoting automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles to streamline deployment and operational processes.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, network, and on-premise environments, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost optimization, especially within cloud environments.
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and execution, with a strong focus on cloud-native resilience strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and internal IT policies, maintaining a strong security and audit posture.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams and business units, fostering cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.




Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CCNA, MCSA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with 3-5 years in a leadership or management position.
  • Proven experience managing complex on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Strong experience implementing DevOps methodologies and tools in an enterprise setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Experience with cybersecurity operations, incident response, and compliance.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux distributions) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Proxmox).
  • Extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
  • Solid understanding of advanced networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, SD-WAN, network security).
  • Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, object storage) and backup solutions.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities, with a focus on empowering autonomous teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of addressing complex technical challenges across diverse domains.
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Work Schedule

  • Full time schedule of minimum 8 hours per day with flexibility to complete all required job duties and responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 Annual Salary *
