MedSource Community Services is seeking a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) to serve as a Behavior Support Consultant for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential programs.

This is a contract position with a flexible hybrid schedule. Local travel within the Frederick, MD area is required for in-person visits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments to identify strengths and behavioral support needs
• Develop and revise individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) rooted in person-centered, trauma-informed practices
• Provide clinical support and direct intervention where appropriate
• Train and coach direct support professionals on BSPs and behavior strategies
• Collaborate with residential teams, families, and stakeholders to align behavioral goals
• Ensure documentation is timely, thorough, and compliant with Maryland DDA standards
• Support the emotional well-being, dignity, and community integration of each person served

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Clinical experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Strong background in behavior management, trauma-informed care, and person-centered planning
• Familiarity with co-occurring mental health or neurocognitive conditions
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Self-directed with the ability to manage a flexible hybrid schedule

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Hourly Rate: $100.00/hour
• Schedule: 30–40 hours/week (flexible contract)
• Work Location: Hybrid (remote administrative work + on-site visits in Frederick, MD)
