Position: School social worker - CERTIFICATION: School Social Worker - LCSW preferred. Seeking a school social worker who will support SEL within K-12 classrooms and with individual students district-wide. Need a specialist who will serve as a liaison between home, school, and the community. Will work with children whose academic, social, or behavior difficulties impede their learning. Collaborate with all school district personnel to broaden the school and district's knowledge and understanding of students' home environment. Will interface with community agencies and other child-advocacy resources to facilitate the making of referrals and the consequent exchange of information and recommendations. This is a 10-month, tenure track position that will begin January 6, 2025.
