Description

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our collaborative team. As a psychiatrist at Vantage Mental Health, you’ll provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure the highest quality of mental health care for our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assess mental and physical health needs, and establish diagnoses.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing and managing medications.
• Provide psychotherapy or refer patients to appropriate psychotherapeutic treatments.
• Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, holistic patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, prioritizing patient outcomes and well-being.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care, maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Stay up to date with advancements in psychiatry and mental health treatment through continuing education and professional development.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
• Board certification in Psychiatry or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Minnesota.
• Proven experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in outpatient care.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
