Description
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our collaborative team. As a psychiatrist at Vantage Mental Health, you’ll provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure the highest quality of mental health care for our diverse patient population.

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assess mental and physical health needs, and establish diagnoses.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing and managing medications.
- Provide psychotherapy or refer patients to appropriate psychotherapeutic treatments.
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, prioritizing patient outcomes and well-being.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care, maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
- Stay up to date with advancements in psychiatry and mental health treatment through continuing education and professional development.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Board certification in Psychiatry or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Minnesota.
- Proven experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in outpatient care.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
