Job Summary

Signature Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our behavioral health team at Brockton Hospital. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive assessments and interventions for individuals impacted by mental illness, behavioral health challenges, and substance use disorders. You’ll work in close coordination with law enforcement, family members, and the medical staff to ensure timely admissions and treatment referrals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients with mental health and behavioral issues
• Manage voluntary and emergency psychiatric admissions
• Refer patients to appropriate outpatient or inpatient care programs
• Coordinate with medical and support staff for smooth transitions in care
• Participate in community outreach and Signature’s quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as a collaborative member of the multidisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical psych experience – Required
• Must hold current Massachusetts LICSW license – Required
• Experience working with adolescents and adults – Required
• Master’s degree in social work or related field – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
