Intake Coordinator – Now Hiring – Sioux Falls / Rapid City

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for clients seeking services, this role is essential in creating a welcoming and supportive experience from the very beginning.

The Intake Coordinator manages all aspects of new client intake—including responding to inquiries, gathering essential information, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth transition into care. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, can multitask effectively, demonstrates sound judgment, and approaches tasks with professionalism and common sense.

Position Details:

Schedule: 35–40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Conduct initial screenings to collect demographic, insurance, and basic clinical information
Schedule intake appointments and assign clients to appropriate providers based on their needs and availability
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
Coordinate closely with clinicians and administrative staff to support a seamless intake process
Monitor pending intakes, incomplete documentation, and client waitlists, following up as needed
Perform general office duties and support administrative tasks as necessary
