About Job

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will conduct individual evaluations which may be traditional or intervention-based to assist school staff and parents; effectively meet the academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs of children; consult with educational staff to develop individualized learning or behavioral plans for students

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of school psychology principles and practices.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • Proficient in developing safety plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Excellent conflict management skills to address issues effectively within the school environment.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation processes and terminology relevant to psychological assessments.
  • Ability to manage crises calmly and effectively while providing support to affected individuals.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of special education laws and practices related to student support.
