Direct Behavioral Strategies is looking to add a Clinical Director / Senior BCBA to our Kissimmee clinic.
We are a small company that focuses on quality and not quantity. We are excited to bring on a new Clinical Director to our Kissimmee team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with the management of day to day operational aspects of DIRECT BEHAVIORAL STRATEGIES center program to include scheduling, staffing, training, direct services and other administrative duties.
- Communicates and coordinates with owner to ensure company mission, philosophy and procedures are embraced.
- Provides leadership in the areas of clinical and educational services, program evaluation, program development and training.
- Designs, implements, and manages evidence-based ABA services (therapy, assessment, parent training, staff training, etc.)
- Conducts functional assessments on a quarterly basis if needed using the assessment tools provided to ensure programming are updated based on accurate assessment data.
- Oversees the activities of the RBT’s and Behavior Analysts to ensure that skill acquisition and replacement programs are implemented and evaluated effectively.
- Assists with student analyst program and holds monthly group supervision meetings
- Builds relationships with parents, the community and local leaders.
- Ensures that all aspects of program follow and meet all state and insurance compliance guidelines, and best practice from the BACB.
- Manages staff training programs monthly by identifying staff training topics, coordinating training schedules, and evaluating overall effectiveness of staff training initiatives.
- Monitors BT’s and validates for RBT certification. Agrees to supervise RBT’s per the BACB’s requirements for supervision.
- Attends meetings, events and seminars as required by DIRECT BEHAVIORAL STRATEGIES.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- BCBA Certification for at least 3 years
- Medicaid Provider with active Medicaid number
Our Clinical Director position is a salaried position with a 40 hour set schedule. Here are just some of things we provide for our BCBA's:

*Weekly meeting with Owner to discuss any issues with families or staff so we can provide support and guidance.
*A large number of RBT's that are student analysts and are enrolled in a BCBA certification program.
*Close working relationships with Rollins College, FIT, USF, UCF and UWF.
*Opportunities to implement Functional Analysis in clinic
*Resources in clinic for programming (laminating, speech/language materials)
*Assessment materials in clinic (VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R, PEAK, AFLS, Essentials for Living)
*Electronic Data Sheets that provide data and automatic graph updates to BCBA instantaneously
*Weekly pay by Direct Deposit
*Electronic notes
*Paid FABA Conference, Hotel accommodations for full time BCBA
*Supervision / Monitoring Curriculum provided
*Social/Team Building activities for staff to get to know each other (Autism Acceptance BBQ and Kickball Game, End of Summer Pool Party, Staff Holiday Party, FABA conference)
