About Job
- 90 Bed- All inpatient Adult and Child/Adolescent Hospital with an Outpatient Program in Place. Units are broken down into: Adult High and Low Acuity, Voluntary Military Unit, Adolescent and Child. We also included an overflow unit for patients.
- All H/P's are done by a local Primary Care Group. We have introduced Tele-Health to assist with increased patient flow.
- Dedicated Time for Administrative Time and additional directorships available!
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients admitted to the inpatient unit
- Review medical records and conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather comprehensive information
- Formulate accurate diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria and clinical findings
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
