Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time opportunity within a reputable school district in the Piedmont, California area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting student success and well-being through evidence-based practices and collaborative school-based interventions.

Position Details:

  • Title: School Psychologist

  • Location: Piedmont, CA

  • Type: Full-Time (School-Based)

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role, including:

  • A Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology

  • Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred

  • Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by the district

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to support special education eligibility decisions

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and services

  • Provide counseling and behavioral support to students individually and in groups

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs)

  • Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during critical incidents

  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary

  • Promote safe and inclusive school climates and advocate for student mental health
