About the Role:
In this position, you will assess students strengths and needs, design individualized interventions, and partner with educators and families to promote positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and develop clear, actionable reports
Attend IEP meetings and assist with eligibility determinations
Provide short-term counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Support RTI and MTSS practices throughout the district
Maintain organized records in compliance with district and state standards
Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
Active New Jersey School Psychologist Certification
Knowledge of IEP development, MTSS implementation, and evidence-based interventions
Previous school-based experience preferred
Excellent collaboration, communication, and time management skills
Position Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments based on district needs)
