School Social Worker – 2025–2026 School Year – In-Person

Ampersand Therapy is hiring dedicated School Social Workers for the 2025–2026 school year. We offer full-time and part-time, exclusively in-person positions supporting schools in Illinois.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: In-person
Start Date: August 2025
Service Area: IEP minutes, documentation, staff meetings, and collaboration with special education teams

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide school social work services in elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Complete IEP minutes and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in staff meetings and support multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams and other school staff

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Social Work
  • Experience working in schools or special education is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong advantage but not required
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
