The MI Counselor Group is offering a flexible career opportunity for a Contractual Psychotherapist. The MI Counselor Group is seeking licensed clinicians (LLPC/LPC/LMSW/LMFT) who are committed to providing high quality care for children (8 and up), teens (14 and up), and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, postpartum depression/adjustment, trauma, life transitions and bipolar disorder and couples experiencing infidelity and communication issues.

We work from culturally aware, trauma informed and strength-focused lenses. We employ a variety of modalities but lean toward CBT, Person Centered, EMDR, IFS, BSP, and Mindfulness. Other modalities are welcomed!

Qualifications

• A Limited and/ or Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional
• MA degree or higher from an accredited university in the behavioral and mental health field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology)
• Full and Limited unrestricted license in good standing to practice
• Organized, quick and enthusiastic learner, excellent communicator, receptive to feedback, good with time management
• Comfortable and efficient with using technology to communicate
• Have a confidential, private location to work remotely from with reliable internet access
• Ambitious and ready to keep up with a competitive, goal-driven, start-up environment
• Ability to complete notes in a timely fashion (we are serious about our deadlines)
• Attention to detail

All candidates MUST be licensed by the State of Michigan: LLPC/LPC/ LMSW/LMFT

Preference will be given to psychotherapists with advanced training and experience with:

• Couples/Marriage and Family Counseling
• Counseling/Therapy with Young Children/Teens
• Post-graduate continuing/advanced training
