Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to families, helping them navigate challenges and improve their overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities. The Family Therapist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate therapy sessions that promote healing and growth within family dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of families and individuals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide therapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Work collaboratively with families to address issues related to crisis management, PTSD care, and behavior management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and data collection for each client.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, fostering a supportive environment for participants.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in family therapy.
- Offer Christian counseling when appropriate, integrating faith-based principles into therapeutic approaches.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a therapist (LMFT).
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong skills in crisis management and behavior management techniques.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ethical practice and professional development in the field of family therapy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $62.00 - $63.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
