Overview:

Anthony’s Safe Haven is looking for a part-time Clinical Director (1099 contract) to guide the development of our trauma-informed outpatient mental health program. This role is perfect for someone passionate about community care, compliance, and startup growth. You’ll oversee clinical operations, supervise pre-licensed clinicians, help build our policies from the ground up, and prepare the organization for credentialing and outpatient licensure.

This is a flexible remote/hybrid position based in Oklahoma with future opportunities to convert to a W2 role once insurance credentialing is completed.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as Clinical Director of record for outpatient licensure and program development
  • Supervise LMSWs or other pre-licensed staff (must be board-approved to supervise in OK)
  • Assist with agency insurance credentialing and ensure documentation compliance with Medicaid and commercial payers
  • Review and sign off on clinical documentation: assessments, treatment plans, progress notes
  • Collaborate with the CEO on writing policies, establishing workflows, and preparing for state audits
  • Participate in team meetings, documentation audits, and clinical leadership planning
  • Ensure all services follow trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and ethical standards
  • Provide clinical insight on programs including outpatient therapy, school-based support, and eventually group homes

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must be fully licensed in Oklahoma as an LPC-S, LMFT-S, or LCSW-S
  • Approved by your board to provide supervision
  • 1+ years of post-licensure clinical experience (outpatient or nonprofit preferred not required)
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid billing and documentation standards
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, foster care systems, or community mental health
  • Self-starter mindset, must be organized, motivated, and comfortable with startup environments
  • Must be professional, responsive, and collaborative in communication

About Us:

Anthony’s Safe Haven is a trauma-informed mental health startup nonprofit based in Oklahoma. We’re launching our first outpatient program with plans to expand into group homes, school-based behavioral support, and long-term trauma recovery programming.

Our mission is to create safe spaces where children, families, and marginalized individuals can heal, rebuild, and thrive. We are passionate about breaking barriers to mental health care, especially for communities impacted by trauma, systemic neglect, and generational harm.

This is more than just a job, it’s a movement.
