CES Academy is a private, Christian K–12 school dedicated to providing a Christ-centered environment that fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth. We are currently seeking a reliable and caring After School Care Coordinator to supervise students after regular school hours until they are picked up by parents or guardians.

Position Overview

The After School Care Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and engaging with students in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment during after-school hours. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to maintaining a positive, organized, and calm atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of students during after-school hours
• Maintain a secure and orderly environment until students are picked up
• Engage students with quiet games, activities, or reading
• Monitor attendance and coordinate student check-out with parents/guardians
• Communicate with school staff and parents as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized after-care space
• Enforce school policies and behavior expectations in a respectful, caring manner

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Kind, patient, and attentive to student needs
• Ability to manage small groups and maintain a calm atmosphere
• Must pass a Level II background screening
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus
