We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join the Pediatric Developmental Services (PSD) and Health Developmental Services (HDS) Departments as the Manager of Pediatric Mental Health and Development. The PDS and HDS team provides positive and supportive experiences for children, parents and caregivers. Together they strive to meet all of a child’s social, emotional, language, cognitive and physical needs so we can care for their overall well-being. Our team specializes in treatment and behavioral therapies for developmental delays, offer screenings, assessments and ongoing therapy to promote healthy development in children up to 5 years old. Whether helping with typical development or more significant concerns, our staff is dedicated to providing early supportive experiences for children, parents and caregivers. The Infant Mental Health Manager is a key leadership role for these departments and also provides direct care to our pediatric patients.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide on-site supervision of the mental health services to children up to 5yrs old
Help mothers increase access to infant development and maternal-child bonding services
Provide supervision to Associate Therapists
Build positive relationships, inspire others to perform at a higher level
Prepare career development plans and retain an accountable workforce
Serve as the on-site manager for the mental health clinic
Provide direct care counseling sessions to assigned patients
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Performs initial assessment and on-going care
Participates in the development of individualized care plans
Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team
Coordinate with Case Managers and patient support staff
Connect patients to internal/external resources as appropriate
Coach and counsel staff and administer appropriate disciplinary action in a timely manner
Provide/ensure staff receive all new hire and annual trainings on time
Oversee administration of integrated care activities at assigned clinics to include data collection and report generation
Track site productivity and utilization rates
Monitor on-going revenue and expenses
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Current California state clinical licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
3 years of experience in a social service/behavioral health field
1yr of leadership experience in mental health care setting
Ability to provide clinical supervision to associate therapists
Possession of First Aid/CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency
Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County

$103,000-$125,000 Starting Annual Salary

$103,000.00 - $123,000.00
If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
