At Happy Egg this full-time role offers the opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities across farm operations, from equipment maintenance to environmental testing, while playing a key role in ensuring the farm runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility & Grounds Maintenance
Machinery & Equipment Operation & Maintenance
Artificial Insemination & Selection Assistance
Bird Condition Monitoring
Environmental & Health Testing
Regular record keeping of farm operations.
Adherence to all biosecurity and animal welfare policies.
Assist the Farm Manager with troubleshooting and continuous operational improvements.
Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed to meet full-time demands.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Animal Science or 2+ years of experience preferred.
Proficiency with basic calculations (e.g., rates, ratios, percentages) for environmental testing.
Valid Driver’s License.
High physical stamina and ability to work consistently through demanding tasks.

Job Conditions

Greater exposure to prolonged standing, lifting (up to 60 lbs), and environmental factors.
Higher interaction with farm equipment, live animals, and safety procedures.
