Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, and children. This role involves providing psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and therapy to patients in a hospital setting. The Psychologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans and conducting research to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs.
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in distress.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Offer therapy sessions for various populations, including those with PTSD, geriatric patients, and children/families.
- Perform psychological testing to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing research to contribute to the field of psychology and improve therapeutic practices.
Experience
- A Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution is required.
- Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health practices is essential.
- Previous experience with child family counseling and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of PTSD care and geriatric psychological services is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in psychological testing and assessment methodologies are necessary.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and research within the field.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $106,719.63 - $128,522.56 per year
