Job and Responsibilities

This is a Full-time, in-person role as a School Social Worker located in Redwood City, CA.

The School Social Worker will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and mental health support to students, collaborating with school staff and parents, and implementing intervention strategies. The role also includes participating in IEP meetings, writing reports, and monitoring students' progress.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or LSE or LCSW in Social Work with certification
• Licensing with the California State Department of Education
• Must have School Experience
• 3+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of Psychological Assessment
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents while demonstrating a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
