Exit 56 Therapy Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Clinical Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. We are passionate about providing high-quality mental health and psychoeducational services to children and adolescents in a supportive, family-centered environment.
We offer flexible scheduling with PRN, part-time, and full-time opportunities available based on your availability and preferences.
Position Overview:
The Pediatric Clinical Psychologist will perform comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to assess developmental, cognitive, academic, behavioral, emotional, and adaptive functioning in children and adolescents. This role supports diagnostic clarification for a range of concerns including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety, depression, and more.
ADOS-2 certification is preferred for autism-specific evaluations, but not required. Training opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough clinical interviews with caregivers and/or children
- Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of standardized tests including:
- Cognitive (e.g., WISC-V, WPPSI-IV)
- Academic (e.g., WIAT-4, KTEA-3)
- Adaptive (e.g., Vineland-3)
- Emotional/Behavioral (e.g., BASC-3, Conners)
- Autism-specific (e.g., ADOS-2, CARS-2)
- Write comprehensive, parent-friendly reports that include clear diagnostic impressions and individualized recommendations
- Conduct feedback sessions with families to review results, diagnoses, and treatment/educational planning
- Collaborate with referring physicians, therapists, schools, and other professionals as appropriate
- Maintain timely documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and insurance standards
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active (or eligible) Florida license as a Psychologist
- Experience in pediatric psychological and/or psychoeducational testing
- Familiarity with DSM-5 and IDEA/504 guidelines for educational planning
- ADOS-2 training/certification preferred, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time-management abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based, child- and family-centered care
