Salary: $43,000 - $48,000/yr.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide SUD group services to clients in substance use treatment programs. This person must love running group therapy. Candidates with QMHS qualifications or experience working with mental health populations are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide and document 2-3 hours of SUD group therapy per day and provide co-facilitation for IOP, PHP, and TBS groups.
Provide additional support to the clinical and administrative team.
Coordinate care with internal clinical staff and external providers.
Monitor client progress and advocate for client needs.
Document all services in accordance with agency, state, and Medicaid requirements.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.
Maintain appropriate licensure and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications:

Current CDCA certification in the state of Ohio
Experience providing group counseling services or support services to individuals with substance use or co-occurring disorders.
QMHS qualification preferred or 3 years experience in the behavioral health field .
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
