Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Aid Counselor located in Columbia, SC. The Financial Aid Counselor will assist students and families in understanding and navigating the financial aid process. Key tasks include advising on financial aid options, processing financial aid applications, managing student aid packages, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Experience in Student Financial Aid and Enrollment Management
• Knowledge of Title IV regulations
• Strong Finance skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience in a higher education setting is a plus
