Position Overview: August Rose Health Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our outpatient mental health clinic. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance, support, and oversight to our team of mental health therapists. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight:
- Provide clinical supervision to a team of mental health therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions, offering constructive feedback and support for professional growth.
- Review and approve treatment plans, case notes, and assessments to ensure high-quality care.
- Staff Development:
- Mentor and guide therapists, promoting their ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
- Identify training needs and provide opportunities for continuing education and workshops to enhance clinical knowledge.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the quality of clinical services provided by the therapists, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and clinic policies.
- Case Consultation:
- Provide case consultation to therapists on complex client cases, assisting with treatment planning and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with therapists to address any challenges in providing effective care to clients.
- Client-Centered Care:
- Encourage a client-centered approach to therapy, promoting culturally sensitive and inclusive practices.
- Advocate for the well-being and best interests of clients, ensuring that their treatment goals are met.
- Collaborative Leadership:
- Work closely with the Clinic Director and other members of the management team to contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
- Collaborate with the administrative staff and the psychiatrist to optimize clinic operations and client services.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the mental health field and best practices in therapy and counseling.
- Lead efforts to implement evidence-based approaches and innovative techniques to enhance clinical outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical), or a related license in the state of Maryland.
