This full-time School Psychologist position offers an opportunity to support students across three K-12 schools in Arvada, CO, with a primary focus on elementary and middle school levels. The role is contracted for the next school year, running from September through June, with a 35-hour onsite workweek.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Special Education (SPED) team to support 504 plans and meetings, conducting evaluations and assessments, and actively participating in team and student support meetings. This position demands strong expertise in psychological services within an educational setting, emphasizing student growth, accessibility, and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado School Psychologist license
- Current certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Experience working K-12, particularly with elementary and middle school students
- Skilled in performing psychological evaluations and assessments
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including SPED coordinators and educators
- Familiarity with supporting 504 plans and related compliance requirements
