- Provide responsible & attentive care for children.
- Treat all children with care and compassion.

- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly space.
- Maintain a professional attitude, respecting family privacy at all times.
- Provide enriching educational activities like facilitating study hall and help kids with homework.
- Implementing and encouraging age-appropriate activities, learning and socialization.
- Provide structure and accountability in a compassionate fashion.
- Supervise toileting as needed and in appropriate manner.
- Encourage children to participate in all activities.
- Must supervise children at all times and have direct line of sight. No student is allowed to be on their own.
- Contact the staff as needed to address challenges.
- Monitor children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues and reporting concerns to the staff.
- Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline, as needed.
- Keeping records relating to child care and check in/out times.
- Attend to the front desk as needed.
- Turning off all lights and ensuring all entries/exits are locked before leaving.
- Immediately notifying the Board of any emergencies and dialing 911 if applicable.
- Previous experience working in childcare or education.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of school aged children.
- Be a self‐starter and perform the job with little supervision.
- Possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a courteous and professional manner.
- Possess the ability to follow written and oral directions.
- Must be able to handle any questions that arise with the parents by answering them or by directing them to the right person for the answer.
- Must be trustworthy, in good health, accurate, have a neat appearance, and a courteous manner.
