Schedule/Hours: S – S 4:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. with 30-minute unpaid break (15 hours per week)
This position is responsible for:
Provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients in a residential facility; maintains appropriate records in addition to ongoing written and verbal communication with the supervisor in relationship to daily client activities; facilitates an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists and responds to inquiries from non-clients.
- Maintains and updates records of all program residents; completes assigned paperwork, documentation, and statistics as assigned.
- Follows the written policy and procedures for confidentiality in order to maintain the privacy of the residents.
- Provides necessary crisis intervention; ensures 24-hour monitoring of clients.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to exercise good judgment and make responsible decisions with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to exhibit personal integrity, mature judgment, and emotional stability suitable to the job.
- Ability to adhere to The Salvation Army Mission Statement by practicing respect, esteem, and dignity toward all mankind.
- Work is performed in a normal office and transitional housing environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
- Work requires driving a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
