Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Social Workers to join our team working with at risk children in Genesee County!
Monday - Friday
School hours
No weekends, nights or holidays!

Duties
- Diagnosis (using DSM-5)
- Psychosocial Assessments
- Suicide Risk Assessments
- Depression Screenings
- Develops individual treatment plans and reviews 90 days or as needed/indicated
- Provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in children, adolescents and young adults in the school-based health center setting.
- Independently uses and documents the therapeutic process to plan, deliver, and evaluate goal-focused, individualized, safe age-specific care for all patients, including those with complex bio-psychosocial needs.
- Maintains regular contact with referral sources, courts and family members to plan for treatment goals and aftercare. Works with schools to develop programs.
Requirements
- A degree in Social Work is required
- State of Michigan Licensed Masters of Social Worker is required (LLMSW or LMSW)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-directed when necessary.
- Knowledge of childcare practices is beneficial for working with families.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
