Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Desoto, TX area. This position includes work for both Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY), providing a unique opportunity to make an impact year-round.

To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

  • Possess a valid Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)

  • Meet all state and district-specific certification standards

  • Be eligible to work in the United States

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services

  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student mental health and academic success

  • Develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior management plans

  • Provide consultation to school staff and parents regarding learning and behavioral issues

  • Participate in IEP meetings and help shape individualized educational plans
