JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Resident Care Advocate
Department: Client Services
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY
The Resident Care Advocate is responsible for the day to day operations pertaining to client care. Individuals in this position will uphold the core values of Infinite Recovery in an effort to meet the needs of clients within the continuum of care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Observe, direct and redirect clients
  • Report on client behavior
  • Be an example of a recovered man or woman
  • Make sure clients are following resident guidelines as well as daily schedule
  • Oversees and ensures the safety of clients
  • Oversees incoming and outgoing mail
  • Transports to meet client needs (meetings, appt’s, outings, etc.)
  • Intake, discharge, and/or step downs of clients as it relates to operational procedure
  • Monitors client behavior and report all specifics in daily documentation
  • Checks email daily for any updates/concerns/instruction
  • Monitors the preparation of meals and oversees safety practices when necessary
  • Ensures the cleanliness of the client bedrooms, kitchen and common areas
  • Awareness of client location at ALL times
  • Relays pertinent information from your shift to the next
  • Reports any problems with property to maintenance department
  • Being an example of an individual in 12 step recovery
  • Facilitates group and properly documents participation
