This position is designed for a dedicated professional eager to make a meaningful impact from August 15, 2025, to June 16, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapeutic support to students, addressing their emotional and academic needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to create comprehensive support plans.
- Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, promoting healthy social and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Partner with outside agencies when necessary to enhance student support services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DESE license as a School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor (All Levels or PreK8).
- Masters degree in social work, School Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience providing counseling services in a school or child-centered clinical setting.
- Preference for candidates with LICSW, LCSW, or LMHC licensure (or in progress).
- A minimum of one year of related experience preferred.
